Clinical Trial Manager (m|w|d)

Miltenyi Biomedicine is a newly established international biopharmaceutical company that develops innovative cell and gene therapies. We are focused on bringing cancer treatments and regenerative therapies to patients. Our initial focus is on difficult to treat hematological cancers using CAR-T technology whilst exploring treatments for solid tumors.  We are currently in discussion with the FDA, EMA and Japanese health authorities regarding initiating pivotal Phase II trials. We strongly believe that despite promising developments, there is significant room to improve on current cancer therapies.

Your role

You are working in the division “Clinical Research & Development” which is globally performing first-in-man clinical trials and Phase I-II proof-of-concept studies for our new assets.

  • As Clinical Trial Manager you are responsible for the planning, implementation and management of all aspects of clinical trials, mainly in the field of cellular therapies.
  • You ensure that all trials are carried out in accordance with all relevant pharmaceutical regulations (e.g. GCP and applicable SOPs), as well as with quality, budget and timing guidelines.
  • You develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work in regular and very close contact with colleagues from Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, R&D, Manufacturing, Clinical Supply Chain Management, study sites, relevant third parties e.g. CRO’s, laboratories and auditors as well as with regulatory authorities and ethic committees.
  • Within the Clinical Operations Department, you work on the continuous update and improvement of the necessary SOPs.

Your profile

  • You have successfully completed your scientific degree (for example in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy or Medicine); a PhD would be of advantage. 
  • You already have several years of professional experience in clinical research and in the management of (international) clinical trials. Experience in clinical monitoring is an asset.
  • Ideally you have a solid background in immunology, hematology or oncology and are very interested in cellular therapies. 
  • You are naturally communicative and can work independently, proactively, goal-oriented and are willing to lead project teams. 
  • You are willing to undertake international travel (approx. 10-20% of your time).
